Our Philosophy

Human formation for a world of powerful technology.

Artificial intelligence is becoming more capable. The question is whether we are becoming more fully human.

Conformari Christo. To be conformed to Christ.

Purpose

Dr. Jason Owen works to change how people are formed so they may thrive in the world they inherit rather than merely survive it.

Mission

Dr. Jason Owen forms people for the age of AI by cultivating wisdom, virtue, courage, stewardship, and flourishing through education, research, leadership, consulting, and practical implementation.

Vision

A world in which technological progress is matched by human formation, and institutions intentionally cultivate people whose character is worthy of the capabilities entrusted to them.

The Human Person

Human worth is given by God, not measured by output.

A human being is a unique creation of God, made in His image, endowed with inherent dignity, and created to love God above all else and to love one's neighbor as oneself. Every human life is a sacred vocation called to grow in truth, wisdom, virtue, and faithful stewardship.

Human beings are not machines. Human identity is not defined by productivity, intelligence, technical skill, economic value, or social status. Technology should serve the human person, not redefine the person according to what technology can measure.

The Human Advantage is the uniquely human capacity to faithfully discern, wisely judge, virtuously choose, lovingly serve, and responsibly steward every gift entrusted to us by God for the flourishing of humanity and the glory of God.

1

Faithfully Discern

Attend to truth, vocation, context, and consequence.

2

Wisely Judge

Apply knowledge toward what is genuinely good.

3

Virtuously Choose

Act from disciplined habits and rightly ordered loves.

4

Lovingly Serve

Use capability for the good of neighbors and communities.

5

Responsibly Steward

Govern every entrusted gift with humility and care.

God and Technology

God is never surprised by technology.

Before humanity conceived artificial intelligence, God had already entrusted humanity with the wisdom, freedom, and responsibility to steward every gift faithfully.

  • Courage over fear
  • Formation over panic
  • Wisdom over reaction
  • Discernment over blind adoption
  • Mission over novelty
  • Human responsibility over technological determinism

Education

Education exists to form people worthy of the future they will inherit.

Education exists to prepare each generation to faithfully inherit, steward, and advance civilization. It should cultivate knowledge, technical skill, wisdom, character, conscience, judgment, responsibility, love of truth, service to others, and faithful stewardship.

Christ-Centered Commitment

Dr. Jason Owen will always proclaim that Jesus Christ is the true way to a life of lasting joy, peace, and purpose. Christ is the fullest revelation of authentic humanity, and this work seeks to form people who increasingly reflect His wisdom, courage, love, humility, service, and faithfulness.

Institutional Integrity

Dr. Jason Owen will never sacrifice his mission, convictions, or commitment to human dignity for financial gain, institutional prestige, technological novelty, or public approval.

Faithful stewardship is measured not only by what we achieve, but also by what we refuse to become.

Measure of Success

The Institute succeeds whenever those it forms faithfully use their gifts, leadership, knowledge, and influence to help people flourish and reflect the character of Christ in their homes, workplaces, communities, and institutions.

The Founding Charter

Convictions that guard the mission.

The Founding Charter preserves the convictions, mission, and enduring commitments of Dr. Jason Owen's work. It exists to ensure that this work never sacrifices formation, human dignity, love of Christ, or service to others for financial gain, technological novelty, prestige, or public approval.

No public Charter PDF is currently hosted. A download button should be added only after a real file path is available.

Founder's enduring charge: Whatever changes, never lose your love for Jesus Christ above all else, and never lose your love for helping others succeed and flourish.
